Wonder if they'll be showing these off at the L.A. show.
Curious to see what the buzz will be.

^^^ I'm with him.

Also at this point, there are so many people/brands that make pickups these days, I can't see these being any special or different. The only new pickups that are of any interest anymore are ones incorporating truly new tech. These are most likely just re-branded brand-X with a price hike to say Bogner.

Couldn´t agree more. Why bother with pickups when you have so much to do already with amps and pedals?
Now don´t get me wrong. I really like the stuff Bogner puts out, but stick to that and continue to make it great. Exapanding towards another field, especially one that is already filled with excellent pickups just feels wrong.

And as I said, is npt that there can be lack of work in the Bogner factory considering how many people are waiting for amps...

These are outsourced. It won't have any impact on getting amps made.

Hey guys, let me see if I can answer some of your questions...

Yes Arcane is making the pickups for us, so it does not affect any production at the shop. Pricing will probably range from $144-$169 depending on cover type.

They are not rebranded of anything. We're not reinventing the PAF wheel but coming up with a flavor that actually is different from the other offerings our there. You dont usually find PAF sets that are a blend of Alnico II/III. Think about it... pickups are the starting point of what comes down the chain to the amp. It only made sense to help channel the tone Reinhold hears through as much of the signal flow as he can visualize. And Rob from Arcane knows how to build it, in really the old school way.

And yes there is always no shortage of production going on... We diligently work to get them out as soon as possible without sacrificing any quality or cutting corners.

Cheers!
