Bogner Power Amps

Are Bogner going to release the power amps from the NAMM images from last year or was that just for show? I still think a fish with a Bogner power section would be really cool, some other preamps would sound great with the Bogner power section. I am guessing these are just not feasible with racks not being as popular as the once were, just curious.

They sure should! VHT/Fryette has become the de-facto standard in great tube power amps and I don't see why Bogner couldn't put a big dent in that if they released a great power amp. I'm sure that a ton of Fish owners would jump at the chance to put something under their preamp with the same name on it.

But Reinhold marches to the beat of his own drummer and who knows what the guy will do or why. Aside from his Spider Valve and Alchemist deals, he seems pretty content to just tinker with projects that light his own fires and do what he wants to do without regard for the direction the wind blows from. I gotta respect that wacky, quirky dood...

Maybe he's behind. Has he even gotten the Brixton out yet? Didn't a bunch of guys order them through Tone Merchants?

Last time I talked to Jim about these, I remember him saying Reinhold decided not to pursue these... or at least to hold off on them for a while. That was a few months ago, though. Things could have changed again since then.
