Nice, one of the best and cheapest I own.....

Did you get your amp?

Steve

Good to hear. I've wanted a JMP-1 for awhile...not sure if I want a stock or Voodoo modded one.

Yeah man, the Shiva rips. Not quite as wide of a midrange as the XTC...more focused and surprisingly versatile with the mode and shift buttons.

Bone stock is the way to go on the JMP-1. Best $550 I ever spent!

You got a 20th Shiva? Great little amp. That amp makes neck pickups sound like a flute. Did you get the Winged C 6550's in it? Surprisingly mine really likes the Chinese tubes except for the PI. I may have swapped V1 but I can't remeber. I had all NOS and I have to admit the Chinese glass holds together at volume better.

Yeah, it's a killer amp with the =C= 6550's in there. All the Bogner stuff is great. I gotta get some different power tubes in my Twin Jet and am torn between =C= 6550's and those Gold Lion KT77's... The 34's sound better than the 88's, but aren't as open and tight as I'd like for Channel 2.

They do. But the 88's are allot glassier in the TJ where in the Shiva I didn't find them as glassy. They could work in the TJ. Not sure if I would like them over the 77's.

You only need a duet..........Now, you will have to change the bias resistor to go with the 77's, just be aware. I don't think there needs to be any improvement beyond the 6550's. They are the shiz for this amp. Got my old one unboxed last night and fired it up. They are so easy to dial in just fucking rip.
