bogner red pedal question

Anyone run a red pedal in front of a marshall dsl clean channel?
How close to an xtc will it be?
 
I have a red and plug it straight into a VHT 2/50/2 sounds pretty good actually I always loved the blue channel on the ecstasy and the fish.

blue channel on the fish?...I cant find a "blue" channel on mine either.
