Bogner to kemper xtc had to buy it sold my xtc

You need to check out a kemper. My brother just got a power head version. We played it through his 4x12 cab and it was fantastic. I really am thinking of selling my xtc and getting one. I didn't think you could play it into a regular guitar cab and sound good but you can.imho :rock:

I did it, sold my xtc and couldn't be happier. The only big negative for me right now is no floor board from kemper. You can use midi but I'm not gigging any more so no biggie. this thing is fantastic fun. :rock: kemper fan boy
 
Personally I'm a Axe2 fanboi, but would never sell my XTC. You might be sorry!

My response 100% exactly.

Although I dig the AF2, there's no way in HELL I'd get rid of my 20thX, TJ, Hagen, Mak4, VH4, etc. Not a chance.
 
I have a Kemper on the way. I have been a Fractal user for quite a few yrs (absolutely LOVE my Axe FX), but wanted to try the Kemper after hearing so many great things.

However, I can't imagine selling my treasured heads. Really, selling my Diezel's, my 20th XTC, SLO, or even my Mesa's or QuickRod (love that thing) seems unthinkable at this moment. Maybe put a couple of the pre's up for sale, yet it's hard to let go of those as well. Took me such a long time to get what I have now. Although admittedly I don't use everything I have on any kind of regular basis. Hoping the Kemper might give me a way to use them ALL :thumbsup:

I suppose if the Kemper can really live up to the hype, I may just end up with a lot more room in the cave :lol: :LOL:
 
I will always miss my XTC. I needed the cash to buy the Kemper. If I was still young and gigging, I would have never sold the bogner but, for at home, old man stuff, the Kemper is great. The Kemper really sounds and feels great and some of my favorite profiles are, you guessed it, THE Bogner XTC. If I hit the lottery I'm buying the 20th XTC, till then, kemper all the way. Kemper fanboy who does miss his XTC

What is a Kemper amp? I had an Axe FX but sold it. Too much tweaking and I personally hate digital. I am very old school.
 
At the end of the day, use whatever works for you. I hope you don't end up regretting selling your boggy. Worst case you can follow my lead. I went the digital route for a bit and sold all my tube amps and ended up regretting it so badly. I ended up selling all the modeling amps and I picked up a 101b a couple months ago and couldn't be happier. Either way, enjoy!
