I have a brand new Twin jet with el 34's being delivered tomorrow and am stoked!
This is my first bogner amp. I have both a diezel FL v-30 cab and a Mesa OS rear loaded v-30 cab I can run with it..
What is the cab preference for this amp?
Can't wait to fire this thing up
Any tips on Dialing this thing in would be appreciated.

I envy you.. I'm running a boogie mark 5 and I'm looking at the twin jet more and more :D
Let me know how it runs with your recto cab, the majority of the people pair it with the ubercab (V30/T75) or the 2X12 OS bogner cab.

congrats and make some good video, if possible
.. there are not many good vids of this amp on youtube. I somehow like Josh Wibaut's testing123 presentation the most.

It is a somewhat unique bird to dial in.

I would say start with everything at 9:00 and presence at noon and dial them up one at a time or reference. The tone stacks seem to pull from each other. It is not like a Marshall at all.

A notebook to document it all is great. The jump from practice alone to practice with a drummer levels of volume changes it too. It has the blanket over the speaker cab until turned up thing going on. Down low it is a typical amp. Up loud it gets really good. It was a bit of a head scratcher getting dialed in. Trading off presence with treble has a bigger effect than on other amps. Making tone center shifts was a two step thing, change the mids and it changed how the treble sounded, like it pulled some with it. It acted like it had a parametric EQ sort of tone control setup. Very powerful but different. Be patient and be rewarded.

I had mine for a few years and sold it to a bro on here that is a TJ lover. Tubes bring a decent tone shift as well. Really a great amp. I rarely play out and did not need almost a dozen 100 heads at the time so I sold it. One of those amps that was just a good one. When friends came over to jam, that was the one people gravitated toward.

Congrats on getting a great amp!

Congrats! Keep in mind, if you don't care for the EL34's, you can always get the original KT88's in there with a simple modification.

Fact. But when you do, m'man, it's like heavenly thunder

And I thank you to this day.

Ya man, the Uber is a killer amp. I've got the aforementioned TwinJet from Heritage and it's a keeper - still wondering WHY I sold my previous NIB white tolex metal grille TJ a couple years back. I missed it as soon as it left.

The treble/middle EQ are counterintuitive and reductionist in operation. Global presence and depth, similar. You CANNOT EQ this amp by eye. Not a chance. I've recommended starting with all EQ except globals at noon. From there, play with globals but leave all other EQ at noon and get a sense of the globals this way. After that, 9 o'clock on the globals and work each other EQ from its noon position independently to get a sense of "what it does". After that, you'll quickly start to note the interdependence of middle/treble/bass on the channel EQs - this is something that cannot be explained. It has to be experienced.

For the record - I swapped out my KT88s for some high-test 6550s, rolled some fine preamp glass into the sockets, and man, evil and delightful all wrapped up into one.

I fkn LOVE my TJ!!! Thanks again Heritage!!!!

SO, what's the verdict??

I got home late yesterday and didn't get a chance to fire it up..
I'm outta here at five and off to band practice so if I can get it dialed in quickly I'll probably give it a go with the band tonight

Well?? WELL?????

Got to fire it up last night but only had about 30 mins before practice to dial it in.. I was getting great tones out of it right away
I used it in a couple of songs and this beast really cuts through the mix..
This is a fire breathing monster for sure.
Can't wait to spend some time with it this weekend and get the pedal board hooked up to it and dialed..

Thanks again to Brad for hooking me up..

Here's a crappy cell phone pic.

Congratulations! Which one do you prefer the D-Moll or the TJ?
What's the difference between the two?
I own a TJ and a Rev2 first ever made! I can't describe how those amps sound.
I'm thinking in getting a VH4 or Einstein.

Very nice! You'll be switching back to KT88/6550s soon enough, but it's still a beast of an amp!

The amp is brand new from King Guitar and came with el34's.. I doubt I'll go to the big bottles unless I can't get a good tone out of it which doesn't seem likely.. My first impression is this thing kills..

They're different amps. I own several Diezel and several Bogners. They will give you different things.

I love both brands and their offerings.

And I LOVE my TwinJet.
