Hi!

I'm still playing the Twin Jet and trying to find clean/crunch sounds!
First sample is the channel 1 with gain at 3 o'clock but guitar volume really low!
It cleans up nicely:

Second one is more classic rock with two classic rock/blues songs :

Guitar: Tyler Burning water 2K
Cab: Bogner Uberschall frontloaded
Mic: Royer R121

I think that the Twin Jet can do a lot of different sounds!
Tubes are still stock KT88 sovtek...
I would like to swap them to try other KT88 or maybe EL34
I'm more in a classic sound, i Love darker sounds and I think that KT88 are a little bit too hard !

KT77's if you want to keep a tighter feel, and a smoother high end...sorta between an EL34 and 6550. Not as aggressive as an 88. I know Garey really dug them in the TJ and they do well in my XTC. Just have to clip a resistor and follow EL34 bias calculations. I must say I always liked your stock Uber clips!... will bookmark these for later.

Thanks for your comment ;)

You are right it needs a Compressor because its really dynamic !
I have a lot of amps with 6l6 so i want to keep some el34
Flavour .
Maybe trying some KT77 but thats so expensive ...
Maybe other KT88 tubes would be warmer (gold lion or TAD)
I'll try soon :)

Great clips showing the versatility of an amp often thought of as a metal only piece of gear.

Of course KT 88 are neutral so i dont want to change The main sound but a little less hard sound ...
Gold lion KT77 are expensive a lot more than 6CA7 or EL34 ...
This Marshall sounds good but not really my cup of tea ( too mushy or compressed and camera sound is bad ...
