Bogner Uber Twin Jet cleans are decent(another twin jet vid)

did this quick vid to show that the twin jets cleans are deff do-able without the mod.

i have a boss chorus and delay on in the loop and im playing an esp urban camo m2 with the EMG 60 on in the neck in D standard

i dont really play clean/chord stuff alot so i mess up alot so have mercy this is a little simple ballad thing i came up with

Sounds good, try the chorus out front.

i have tried all the effects out front cuz i didnt like the loop at first but when i figured out the trick to getting it to work nicely i really liked how it sounded in the loop alot better

i had my global vol on 12 oclock

and my channel volume was at about 1030

im kinda diggin the cleans on this amp, they have alot of depth and definition....but i do think they need to be polished up with some effects in the loop

Got a Twin jet with clean mod on CH1 week ago, and I think, it's really hard to get cleans from this amp. Only way is to crank up the master volume and tweak with with your volume pot on a guitar. But what if You need to switch between dirty and clean tones quickly ?!

One question ..

Is there any chance, how to find out, whether the CH1 mod was done on my amp, or not ? (I've ordered the mod, but still can't believe it's there - those cleans on low volumes really suck)
I'm asking just because, if the channel on my amp was moded to get a clean, on non moded amp it has to be almost impossible issue.

.. anyway, the amp is a beast, really crazy machine

i have no way of actually telling if the amp had the mod....id call up bogner and find out by telling them the serial number...maybe they would be able to tell that way

try and keep the gain at about 8oclock, put the global vol on 12 oclock and the channel vol on 10-11 oclock...and keep the ch prescence under 11 oclock i find the prescence to add a little more breakup on the clean sounds

and if you have a delay or reverb pedal throw it in the loop it really helps sweeten up the cleans alot

i think this amp is a bit tricky to setup but once you twist the knobs for a few months you really understand how it works....the knobs are very wierd

Hey Rich, how about your guitar volume pot level, was it rolled back, or not during that vid ?

i didnt roll back on the volume on the guitar in the vid

the amp really only sounds nice on cleans with both of my ESP mii's, my black one has an 85 in the neck and my urban camo one has a 60 in the neck. the 60 sounds the best thou and thats what i used in the vid

my other guitars have emg single coils in the necks and i dont really like how the amp sounds at all with single coils...

Sounds very nice. Not exactly a fenderish, bluesy clean. Very dark sounding. Must be a perfect clean for someone who is more into metal.

exactly..there's ALOT of amps out ther with better cleans but i can get by with these, and yes i am into metal very much

im pretty sure most people that look into buying an uberschall are also

i like how it is kinda dark/evil sounding and has lots of definition with a hint of breakup....

this amp as a whole is just evil sounding even down to the cleans
