for those of you that have tried the new twin jet with either of the uberkabs(front and rear loaded) ...... is there really a huge difference between them

what makes one better than the other paired with the twin jet

I've got a new UberKab, powered by a new TJ.

It's in yer face and blossoms into 3D once the MV gets past around 10:00 with V and Gain in the noon and upwards territory. The GT75's smooth out the mid-spikey V30's - together??? They sound righteously awesome.

Guess that's my take.

I do and it sounds awesome. I am not a fan of the 75s so I have a mix of V30s and Greenbacks in a Bogner 4X12. I do want to try a front loaded Ubercab though.

yea that combo sounds like a cool idea ..... ive tried the twin jet with just greenbacks and really liked it alot ..... it really took me by suprise how well they handled the low end, i was kinda skeptical about the greenbacks handling the chug power the uber has but it did really nicely

and honestly i am not a fan of the 75's by themslef but i think they work well when paired with speakers that are naturaly middy like v30s

I have to tell you, I'm not a fan of EITHER V30's OR GT75's... So you can well imagine MY hesitation in pulling the trigger... But I managed to hear one of these set up's in a studio and near full-dime sound, and it was SONIC BLISS!!!! I was BLOWN AWAY... So then, being the devil's advocate, I started screwing with the TJ and other cabs, some soudned good, some sucked, but none of the combinations came close to the UberKab and TJ mix. It was just a match made in heaven & hell

The GT75's with the V30's fired by the Uberschall just really REALLY work well together. it's wicked. And just FYI, I paired the UberKab with my Diezel head and it sounded pretty weak. Go figure

Hey Rob,

is this a new Twin Jet cab ? (the one under the TJ head) Cause it looks like a rear loaded, the grill seems to be not attachable, as there arent those two small loops at the bottom side of a grill
Thanks

Anyone compare the regular Bogner 4x12 with an Uberkab paired with their Twin Jet? I'm curious about that one; my Twin Jet sounds good, but not as good as my Ecstasy. I play both out of a straight Bogner 4x12 loaded with G12Ms from the UK. The tone is to die for with the 101b, and though the Twin Jet with this cab smokes a lot of other setups, it lacks the "depth" I'd imagine the Uberkab would bring.

I'm hoping to hear some sound clips eventually!

I tried it with the VH4S and it didn't sound nearly as good as it did with the TJ. Not sure why - I was always under the impression that a box is a box is a box. But I've learned a lot since then, the UberKab is most certainly different than a 4x12 Diezel cab which is different than a Mills 4x12. I am not sure how the Einstein would sound with an UberKab, but I do know the Einy has a tone unto itself. It may rip perfectly well, it may not...

Try before you buy????

I don't have a front loaded Ubercab, but I do have a front loaded Diezel w/ V30's. Had a rear loaded Ubercab with V30 X 75's and it is most definitely a killer. The VH4 is a very articulate amp and playing it through a front loaded cab helps to track even more. For the Uberschall, it also does well in a front loaded cab, especially with drop tunings and chugga chugga stuff. It really projects and smacks you right across the face.

Sold my old Uber and Ubercab, very reluctantly . Now I want it back. I see a Twin Jet or an Ecstasty in the near future

Yeah, I might add as well that bogner has one of the most awesome customer service departments out there. My experience was among the best I ever had. I would never doubt their quality or service in considering purchasing their products! Shame a guy local to me has the line!!! Great products!
