I finally scored an Uberschall Twin Jet with Purple Mod :D after owning all the Revisions
It's an unreal Amp...Very fluent sensitive extremely brutal however it has def less and different gain from the Uberschalls, the crisp and the wetness of the Rev2 is def missing due to the KT88 Power tubes I believe.
The Twin jet is totally different from the Rev Green2 and the Blue.
Bogner should have called it differently tho...I think

Congratulations!

Bonerschall.
I'm in luv with that amp. Master presence is a big key of the amp. I put it at 3 o'clock and I back up the channel presence to 10 o'clock treble 1:30 mids 1, bass 3 o'clock and gain 2:30 o'clock.
INSANE.

I like the master presence at noon or lower. It can get a bit fizzy and nasal after that. The master depth sounds best at around 3:00, or just past it.

But when you lower the master presence it starts to be too compressed and dry... So I have to really push the treble like 4 o'clock and back up the mids. I put depth all the way !! I love the low end. But it does not have the Low end of the Re2 for sure.

It's a different low end. The Twin Jet's is tighter and less rumbly than the Rev 2's. Not better, but different. The Rev 2 can sound a lot like a Twin Jet by backing off the bass knob.

I don't really like the lows on Channel 1 very much. They can get a bit flubby. Might have to switch back to a Chinese tube in V4.

I never get tired of this.... And its creator will remane unnamed until [he] outs himself.

Glad you're diggin' your TJ.

Bro :2thumbsup:

Adlene only has eyes for the Rev 2, all others won't do or stack up. :)

Congrats on getting a hold of a Twin Jet! I'm definitely kinda jealous, as I've always wanted an Uberschall. Someday, maybe...
