Bogner XTC with tone tubby hempcones????

Anyone experimented with the 12" ceramic hempcones with your Bogner XTC?? They are spose to be a milder, smoother V30 and was thinkin about trying an x patter of 2 V30's and 2 Hempcones with my 20th anniv XTC. I know that 4 standard V30's play well with the XTC... just wondering if the hempcones would add anything. Thanx

I didn't try it with the Hempcones, but with Scumback M75-LHDC my XTC 20th sounds great!
Have you tried the Scumaback?

Nope, havent tried the scumbacks but have heard great things about them. I happen to have a pair of the hempcones so that is why I am inquiring. Im all cashed out so need to go the 4 V30's route or the x V30/hempcones route. Thanx for responding tho bro

If you try the Hempcones, please let us know. It's always good to have another option.
I'm really curious to try more Scumbacks. The H75-LHDC and J75-LHDC sound very tempting.
I didn't dig the ASW KTS-60 with 20th. It's a great speaker, but not in my book for this amp.

I'm really curious to hear how the hempcones sound with the Ecstasy. I heard a hempcone in person for the first time the other day with a modded Princeton, and it was ridiculously good! I'm curious of how it takes distortion though.

Ive been using hempcones for high gain metal with my Diezel Einstein for about two years now.

Absolutely love them but I dont hear the v30 similarities, Id liken them more to greenbacks. So much so Ive been thinking of ordering two weber v30 clones with hempcones.

The issue is the hempcones will destroy the v30s in volume with a 101 DB sensitivity. best match I found was an Eminence wizard.

Yes VERY loud! They speakers are "rated" at 40 watts each but I think they are more like 60 watts each. I have been pumping 120 watts into two of them for awhile now with no problems.
