Simply put I use a Strat into a Bassman head. I was using an Ibanez TS mini and loved it, but I let a friend take it for awhile. What would be the best semi affordable Ts808/Ts9 style pedal to hit the front of my bassman with that is out now? While I did love the TS mini sound, I would like a bigger footprint and bigger switch. I am not looking for some hotrodded modded pedal just a regular traditional TS. I use a Bogner Blue pedal for heavier tones.

Just curious, what model bassman are we talking?
It's a 74 Bassman 10, 50 watt 6l6 I converted into a head. I run it into an 90s Ampeg Lee Jackson era 4x12 with the old g12-75's.

I have the same Big Muff, with the wooden box. (He has the box!)
Was my first fuzz. Sounds glorious through a Fender moving some air, in my case a bf Dual Showman.
Green Rhino is a great TS variant. You can fine tune the lows and mids. Great for boosting that crunchy Bassman into hard rocking territory.

I love the Muff for sure. I used to use a Blues Driver and I liked it a lot. I guess what I really want is just a little tighter version of that, I tend to run my tone kinda bassy and full so hitting that TS and it cuts with a little less bass is great

Don't know how much you are willing to spend, but this seems promising. It's a preorder and I actually just ordered one. It's supposed to ship next week. I need another OD pedal like a hole in the head LOL! I actually have their cotton candy OD pedal and really like it, so I figured I give this a shot. https://reverb.com/item/64218593-finch-electronics-scream

I really dig the Maxon OD820 for many applications, including this.

I was just gonna post Bad Monkey. Cheap pedal but really great for this application. You can tune the highs and lows, goid switch and readily available.

It’s not an 808 or TS9, but I’ve got 3 versions of the Dover Drive that I love in front of Bassman’s. They’re like a fuzz and OD at the same time; you get awesome sustain that you can stain nail pinch harmonics with, unlike most fuzzes. This is a quick clip of my Gilmour Strat into a Lovepedal Tchula into a Germanium Dover Drive. The Tchula is a sweet pedal as well for the edge of breakup stuff. This is just the camera sitting in front of my 2x12 cabs, random noodling at apartment volume.

The regular Dovers are much more distortion-like instead of that EJ/fuzz sound. I made a half-assed demo of the 3 I have, the Germanium is it’s own thing but the old school and BC178’s are extremely similar, maybe a slightly different EQ curve but the distortion is almost identical.
