Boss md-500?

Any of you guys have or have used this pedal? I’m looking for something to cover a lot of ground with chorus which is mainly what I want it for. Thanks for any input.

I have the MD-500 and DD-500.

Extremely versatile and sounds good.

I usually use analog. But am keeping the MD-500.

I had it for close to a year. Sounded great, swapped it for a Tricerachorus, which did exactly what I used the MD-500 for in a smaller footprint.

The one thing I didn't like about the 500 is the detune is in mono, so you need to set up a pair of left and right patches for the EVH thing in stereo.

The Boss MD-500 is a great option. So is the Wampler Metaverse

I have the md 500 and dd 500 and absolutely love them. Md 500 does the evh detune very well and sounds incredible with wet dry wet setup. I am using the midi capabilities of both with my boss es8 to control.

If you want a wide range and a lot of control it hard to beat the Boss 500 series.

You will love it. For me it was a challenge programming all of them but once it was done..... control heaven. Thing that sucks is....... that was like 3 years ago and if i have go do it again....i will have to pull out the manuals and re-learn it lol.
