Anybody here have any experience with the Boss wireless units? It seems like most peeps around here use Line 6 stuff and I was going to pull the trigger on one of those units, but just found out about the Boss stuff this week. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have the Wl-50 (https://www.boss.info/ca/products/wl-50/) and love it. Granted I do NOT use it touring, I just like to use it to sit outside and jam or around the house or just to be free from cords. But it works great.

I did a bunch of research before I bought. I saw reviews (Youtube) of the Line 6 G10 and complaints of the USB port being very weak and comes loose easily. A couple other uses that showed the cheap quality, if you search Youtube reviews, you should be able to find the reviews pointing out some flaws. However, I think for the price, it's still a good bet though.

I have a couple of the wL-50 systems myself and the gents in my band use them live as well. They have been super reliable and they sound great. No issues. I was previously using the g10. The WL-50 is great because it has the option of using a cable if you have too much wireless interference. You just plug right into it direct and go. No pedals or cables to remove. I get about 50-60 feet of wireless performance without issues.

Ive been using the Boss WL-20 for about 6 months. Great little plug and play unit for the $. It's been extremely reliable. I use it for home practice and have been gigging with it. Sounds great with no noticeable signal loss and have not experienced any interference gigging. A full charge seems to last approx 6-8 hours play time. The only time I have experienced signal loss with the unit was at home if I go into another room and there's a wall between my guitar and the receiver.
Previously I had been using a Sennheiser wireless unit with the receiver and body pack etc. It's a superior unit but its also 5X more $. For simplicity and cost purposes the Boss is a winner.

I have used the WL-20 for many gigs. The sound is indistinguishable from a cable. The battery life is great and it seems to be ruggedly built. As long as I stay within about 10 feet of it it's fine. If I even walk over to the other side of the stage I get dropouts. You can forget about stepping out to the dance floor or walking the room for soundcheck.
