Multiple photos available to interested parties for all of the below. Send email to SixStringGuitars@aol.com for more pics/answers to questions on any of these. Only trades plus substantial cash considered. Somewhat negotiable for rig-talk peeps on most of this... if you want something hit me up via email, might make sense for both you and me... Thanks! Lots of crap so scroll down all the way.

1999 Ibanez RG520QS:

Mahogany body with thin quilt Sapele top. Made in Japan... cosmo hardware. Lo-Pro Edge and bubinga neck stripe. Chips on back edges and pick scratches/swirls on the top. Light to moderate fretwear (mostly on G-String 2-10th frets). Tone is great (what do you expect from a mahogany RG?). $330 shipped CONUS without case or gigbag. Add $20 for good padded gigbag or $50 for a hardshell.

2000 Ibanez JS100BK

Joe Satriani signature model. Basswood body with Satch's Strat-like neck profile and medium frets. Made in Korea and is the NICEST sounding Korean guitar I have ever played. Nice, dark rosewood board on this with only faint fretwear. IBZ AH humbuckers with coil tap tone knob switch. 3 dings (not through the paint) at the elbow sculpting, some buckle rash on the back, and a tiny ding on the back of the neck are the flaws. No bar. $425 shipped CONUS without case or gigbag. Add $20 for good padded gigbag or $50 for a hardshell.

2005 Taylor 814CE

2nd from the top of the line steel string. Sells for $2,950 or so. Has the ES electronics and comes a case that shows some wear. The guitar itself is pretty immaculate. 9 out of 10 or better. All solid woods... Rosewood back/sides and Spruce top. Typical Taylor action and great consistent tone. My dream acoustic actually (I'll get another one in the future). $2,000 shipped CONUS.

Mesa 20/20 Power Amp

Excellent condition EL84 power tube equipped 20 watt per channel amp. Very musical and it is light for a tube amp. Only a single rack space and loud enough for gigging as well as low wattage enough to have some power tube saturation going on without being carted away in handcuffs for disturbing the peace ;) Couple of nicks/faint scratches on the top and bottom. Very low hours. $520 shipped CONUS.

Digitech DHP-55 Intelligent Harmonizer/Studio Effects Unit

Good condition multi-effects unit which supports up to FIVE PART INTELLIGENT HARMONIES. Studio quality reverb/chorus/flange/deley etc. throughout. Crack in the plastic right side trim that is only cosmetic. Works 100%, just some rack rash. Can be used with mono input or stereo inputs. $300 shipped CONUS.

1990 Paul Reed Smith Special

I purchased this slightly used when I first started playing. I've kept it a long time because it REALLY has the tonal goods. I recented got a rosewood neck CU24 that sounds great too, so the time has come to move this one. Player condition but, and a piece or PRS history and did I mention rediculous tone! Original case. Chips along edges and around headstock edges. Chip behind the 12th fret on the neck. Factory tremolo uprouting. Original MilCom one piece bridge. Vintage Bass and HFS pickups. Maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck. Needs a new 5-way rotary switch as it's staticky now when selection the neck and neck in parallel settings. Also comes with a 98% complete set of OEM replacement tuners (only a clip type washer is missing and can be reused from the current tuners... TRY finding these winged tuners!) as the originals have become a bit worn where they lock the strings but, maybe you're better at original winged tuners than I am? Very rare and is the brother/sister model to the Studio. Only made a few years and in very limited numbers. Rarely up for sale. $1,550 shipped CONUS.

Also, I have a Visual Sound Jeckyll and Hyde pedal $100 shipped CONUS in 9.5 condition and a T-Rex Mudhoney pedal for the same $100 shipped CONUS in 8.9 condition.

Last thing is this... I have one of these:

Very rare Washburn EC-29 all original in NOS condition... nicest condition I've ever seen and includes an OEM hardshell/Flightcase. Obviously the 2 pics above are not mine but, it is the same color and similar condition. I will take pics and post soon. I had a red crackle finish one before that I sold and it didn't feel as good or look as good (that one had numberous dings and chips). Missing the 3 locking nut pads and would otherwise be considered new. $1,000 shipped CONUS.

One OTHER thing... 2005 Trans Black Quilt Gibson LP R9  Steve's Suhr is the only other Trans Black finish I've ever seen that was so nice. Retail is almost $8,500 or so and sell price is $5,500 or so. Has 3 tiny dings in the back and a small pice of clearcoat missing from the bottom front edge (that I'll leave to you to fix with some superglue or other similar fix). I'll upload pics soon. Certificate missing but, you can get a replacement from Gibson (I've checked). $3,900 shipped CONUS.

Any questions? More pics? Email: SixStringGuitars@aol.com

Digi Jams will not be

IHAVE29FRETS :D

See Ivan, should have stuck with the cheaper Ibanez stuff :gethim:

Ugh... I want your 20/20 bad. Still haven't gotten together the cash.

Every time I get close, some bill pops up and takes a bite out of my gear fund and nobody wants any of the junk I am trying to off...

My friend has one of those EC-29s, except in white only. The pickups and tremolo were in dire need of replacing, but boy did it ever play like a charm.

Okay here's why all this and probably more is for sale--

In:

PRS Custom 24 AP with IRW neck Paid for in full
Anderson Guitars Hollow Drop Top with IRW neck (custom order) Paid for in full

Soon:

Baker B1 Quilt Need balance of the money for guitar to arrive

Future:

Anderson Guitars Hollow Cobra S (custom order) Need the money to order

Yep, Scott, I should have stuck to Ibanez

Plus, my house will be finished in a few days FINALY and there are contractor final bills to pay (the R9 will just about cover that).

2005 Gibson Les Paul R9 Quilt Top. Most beautiful Gibson quilt top I've ever seen (and ties with the most beautiful from some other manufacturers too). Lightest non chambered Les Paul I've ever held. Actually only 2 or 3 oz over 8 lbs (matierials purchasing and house construction has my memory kind of fuzzy these days. No fretwear. 3 matchhead size depressions on the back. 2 edge flecks at the left front and right front tips of the headstock. Tiny clearcoat chip near the edge of the body near the rear humbucker tone control (that can be filled with superglue or whatnot to be almost invisible). Certificate was not given to the original owner so I don't have it. You can get it from Gibson, it will just be handwritten instead of computer generated (which is cooler in my opinion). All original. That's every thing to note besides the fact that it is beautiful, plays EXCELLENTLY, and sounds great too. What more could you want? $8,500 or so list price. $5,500 or so street price. $3,900 shipped CONUS. Going o whittle myself down to 20 guitars. Have as many references as you need (if you need) and have done deals with many here and on other forums.

Good luck with the sale, Ivan!

I gotta ask you this because you've owned both 2:90 and a 20/20 and used them with the Triaxis; could you compare the 20/20 and the 2:90 soundwise when used for clean, lead and rhythm sounds?

Bumpity to add my Edwards Les Paul Custom to the mix... you know the matte black version with the aged yellow binding. 2006 model with gigbag. Pickguard missing. Dimarzio Air Norton in the neck and Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in the bridge. The AN is PERFECT for this guitar! Like this but, with the replacement pickups:

No fretwear and no issues. $580 shipped CONUS.

Would be fair to compare to an R9 and a Supreme but, compared to the 2005 LP Standard Faded I had... other than not liking the Dimebucker in the bridge the Edwards is the same with respect to tone but, with better build quality than the Gibby. You can NOT beat the bang for the buck factor! 60% less than a Gibson LP Standard for an Edwards LP Custom is a steal.
