The cab was my Marshall Hand Wired 4x12 with the Celestion G12H-30 re-issue speakers which is all I use these days.

Interesting. That's a great looking rig and more importantly it sounds great.

I felt it could use less intensity on midcut, but it still sounds great. The amp wasn't loud enough to sound like a real Herbert though.

+1 but it did sound good. Open it up and it will sound even better. Make sure somebody is out front watching for the police though....lol.

Very nice video and the rig looks and sounds great.

Which hand?? Left or right?

Wow! Nice! I'm jealous!

I'm more jealous that Mark got to play with Storm Large though........she's f'n Hot!!

I don't get why you all like that tone

Imo there way to much effects on the rhythms. You can't even tell all the notes apart. Not enough definition for my taste.

What settings are run on channel 3? I thought that sounded awesome, although so did all the other channels

Yeah! It sounds huge!!! That´s what i want!
And i don´t care about the effects. ;)

There is a gain knob and mix controls for the FX too. Not everyone plays speed/death/scream metal :)
Different strokes for different folks.

Of course there is and in the end it is all a matter of taste but no matter what type of music you play imo there should be at least a certain amount of note definition. To me good guitar tone only needs very little effects on leads and cleans and dry rhythms unless of course a special effect is wanted.

You play very staccato type rhythms. I play in a cover band that plays Classic and new rock. If something calls for tight staccato stuff, I back off the gain and fx in my own rig...I actually have low gain and dry presets :). It was a quick YT video not a complete anthology of "all" the tones I use or what Brad will use for this rig.
Everyone has a right to their opinion, you have expressed yours about this YT and I appreciate that.

I didn't mean to offend you. I like your playing and everything just the tone absolutely didn't do it for me and I was wondering why everybody loved it so much.
But back to topic, the rig. That is just great, no question

No offense taken, everyone has a right to their opinion :)

If everyone liked just country music or just jazz, etc the world would be pretty boring.
I personally don't like the guttaral screaming in metal, but I know many, many people do :)
I don't particularly like the twang of tele's or the look of 335's but many do :) I can't for the life of me figure out why people do...lol. Kinda like you can't figure out why people like this tone...it ain't wrong, just not your preference :) I get it.....so again no offence taken :)
