Breakout cable needed to GCX want Change channels Tourmaster

Anybody have or know how to make a breakout cable to connect to a GCX in the loops. Like use loop 5,6,7,8 for channel switcher. I have a short Egnater cable I will sacrifice to attach the 1/4" connectors to just need to know how. And do they need to be set for latching on the GCX and does the 1/4" ends need to be ring tip sleeve type connectors?
And where would they plug in on the GCX in, send, return, out??
