It is a Musicman Axis Sterling built for the egnater crew, It has Egnater knobs and controls, The egnater grill cloth on the front of the guitar and on the peg head instead of saying AXIS it says Egnater. Kinda cool!

The actual grill cloth that comes on the amp is on the guitar but when they put the poly on it turned gray.Definitely a cool guitar!!

No shit on the B string...it just would not stay in tune. EB set it up the day before and the strings were brand new!

Doesn't matter Jeff. Even with the funky string, the amps still sounded kick ass brother!

I kid I kid.  Just giving you shit. Seriously awesome that you guys stepped up and delivered some serious new products. I've been driving some sales here locally for sure. The buzz is definitely out there. Couldn't happen to better people!

I got crucified on TGP get a better player, get in tune...I mean first day before the show new strings and PG says go. I only demo or for that matter design amps playing chords only and maybe hold a note and use a good vibrato to evaluate the amp! Oh well!

You did exactly what was needed. Some nice arpeggios and strumming for the clean channel and some chunky power chords and single notes for the overdrive. I could tell the amp has great tones in it.

Thanks the family understands but the users at TGP are well trying!

TGP is a bunch of doctors and lawyers who dont even gig. Does it even matter what they say? The demo was fine Jeff. It let everyone know what the amp actually sounds like. Thats the goal. Not to show off. I think you definitely got the job done.

I still like TGP once in a while, but I agree. Lots of "Bedroom Mojo Blooz Doctors" over there.

Jeff ,

In all honesty it sounded great and was a solid demo .
I much prefer you letting those open chords ring out .than some guy wail on scales drenched in verb and chorus .

the amp sounds a lot better than most youtube demos , it really is a great bit of gear that I think can compete with any of the big names in terms of tone and features ..

BTW who would be my Canadian dealer if you know?

Jeff-

AWESOME tones! I appreciate the demos...really helps the drooling customers out here.

Question to those who heard these new Eggs.

Are the Rebel 30 and Renegade's preamps voiced similarly? I know the poweramp tubes will effect the tones but were the two preamps designed around the same "sonic" idea?

If not..how would you describe the tone differences?

I am excited and think one of these will be my main amp. My JVM and Mesa are sitting in the corner with snot bubbles in their noses and standing in a puddle of piss

Way to go Jeff..you guys really listen to the end user and we all appreciate it!

They are both similar in that they sound British in nature and sound like "Bruce". Both cleans are BMan based and the overdrive is SL2 or EG3/4 sounding. I think the difference is alot due to the tubes and speakers. The EL34s and 6L6s in the Renegade combined with the oversize 2x12 cab just sounded bigger. The Rebel 30 has EL84s and 6V6s and was going through two 1x12 enclosures. I think the Renegade had more gain as well.

They are both for somewhat separate target markets. The Renegade is for someone looking for a traditional size head or big combo (4x10!). The Rebel is a grab and go kind of amp. Both sound great, just a little different.
