Another thread inspired me to post this here. I think it could be a goldmine. or not.

Egnater head
4 channels, set up like old Egnater IE-4
ch1 fender twin
ch2 Voxy chime, think The Edge
ch3 rhythm, suitable for modern metal, EG5 A?, Erect mod sound?
ch4 Lead, B channel of EG5 module
power section like Seminar head. but, stock with 6550's
Same serial fx loop as Seminar Head
midi controlled
White case, red faceplate, white knobs?
Built in the USA
$2000 MSRP? $2500 MSRP?

This could be kind of a cool new spin on the old MICA TOL100
head from a few years back, but with differant voicing on all 4
channels,differant power tubes this time(not 6L6's) and a leaner,
meaner Egnater head with alot of differant tones.......I know
alot of players have mentioned on the forum that making a
production version of the seminar head would be a great seller,
and being more stripped down but souped up tone-wise it just
might be a great addition to the line at a reasonable price for an
American made amp that kills with the Egnater tone inside.... :D

That was my initial inspriation,

except,
I didn't want shared EQ like the Mica,
I really like the tight, clean sound and convenience of 2 6550's.
I think CH3 of the IE4 needs a little more oomph.
I think the seminar fx loop is the best in the business. (I don't know what the fx loop was like in the MICA BTW, never tried it)

unfortunately its gonna cost $4000 if we do all this and do it in America!

Yea I know, you've been hurtin in the gear department now for awhile huh?

I'm all for new Egnater gear but given the choice between this amp and an M4, I'd take the M4 and a power amp of my choice. That said, I think it would probably sell fairly well even at $4k.

Why not just mod the Tourmaster?

IDK, man. It's most likey not mod friendly.

probably LOTS of components wave soldered cloesly together = probably pretty hard to work on.

I could be wrong though
