Hi Bruce and Jeff -
I just bought my Renegade 65 head and Tourmaster 2 x 12 cabinet this weekend at Guitar Center, its awesome and I love it! I only play through 3 pedals (a Peterson Strobostomp2 tuner, a Compressor, and an Envelope Filter) and with previous rigs I've just had those pedals sitting between my guitar cable and the amp. What would be the reasons/ benefits of tying those pedals into the effects loop on the backside of the Renegade, versus just having them in the direct line from my guitar to the pedalboard to the amp input on the front of the Renegade?
