Buying used until the New Studio is released

I am thinking about picking up a used Torpedo until my order for the new Torpedo Studio is delivered which now appears to be pushed back until September.

My question is, if I do purchased a second hand unit, will I be able to access firmware updates, and other available features such as software/cabs etc?

Absolutely. Torpedo VB-101 and Torpedo Studio have a lot in common.
