Matamp could be pretty cool with VH4. Shouldn't be too expensive either.

Contact one of the Diezel distributors and see if they have any ex-recording / tour stock.

got some cash together and i am about to press the button on a v212r. Will i notice a big change over my marsh 1936 super lead 2x12 ?

Good advice.

What's a v212r? How do you expect an answer to your question?

its the model number of the diezel cab im getting sorry. Its the rear loaded 2x12 with hempcone speakers.

Oh ok, in that case: The difference will be HUGE. :D Not sure if the hempcones cab is your thing though...heavily depends on the type of music you play mainly...if it's rock or softer stuff I guess the hc cab is the way to go though...

From a Marshall 2X12 to the Diezel 2X12 will be like having a glass of grape juice to a glass of $5000/bottle fine wine! you will not be sorry. Let me know how you like the Hempcones!!!

Tighter bass, more even frequency response, better off-axis tone.
I think you will be pleased no matter what kind of music you play.

Either that's the wrong code or it's not hempcone. The leading letter denotes the speakers, v is for v30's, h is for the hempcones. The trailing letter is f for front or r for rear.

(I only know this because I have a v412f and a h412r arriving in about 25 mins... )

Could well be, but if it were me I'd check that I'm getting what I asked for.

£750 :-( alot i know theres a price increase next week aswel.

was gonna get a mesa for £599 but was told the diezel cabs are better. The one im getting is a 2x12 rear loaded hempcone cab.

Got my cab.................................. fux me cant put into words how good it is. Its the h212r so the guy in the store must of got mixed up. ill post some clips later (excuse my playing)

If I bought a Diezel 2x12" for my VH4 which one should it be? Rear or frontloaded? I dont' find my Rivera K412T to be boomy, loose etc at all. It's rearloaded but waaaay more tight than for example Orange 4x12" with V30's. Dare I say the bass response is the absolute tightest I've heard so far. Maybe even too tight with VH4 for my taste.

Then what about the speakers: V30 or something else? I've got both V30 & G12K-100 in my cab and they both seem to do the job pretty much equally well. At least they tend to balance out each other pretty well. I don't think hempcones would be the best choice in my case but who knows? I have never tried out or heard those in action.

I play mainly rock, metal etc. but every now and then just about everything else. I really like my tone to be defined, tight and focused but not too heavy and raw. Even when playing metal I'm going pretty easy with the gain knob. No dialing off the mids here either!
