Is there any chance we will see a downsized cab pedal in good old Two Notes quality? :-)

What would you like to have in such a product?

We have some projects in that direction, but nothing really final at the moment.

Hi Guillaume,

the perfect "Mini C.A.B." for me would feature maybe 3 or 4 cabs (Silver77, Watt FanC, Brit VintC, Voice 30) and the fantastic Power Amp sim. Editing via USB for a few parameters so no display would be needed on the pedal.

I am using the Torpedo Live with amps but there are often situations where you can only bring a small pedal board and go D.I. The dimensions of the C.A.B. make it a "big" pedal, unfortunately. In other words, a Trescab-ish stomp box with Torpedo technology would be heaven. For many players I believe…

Thanks and best regards, Harald

Mini CAB .....something like the HOF Mini size :D ..even smaller

So maybe just a dry/wet setting on the pedal itself and a switch to select between a few cabinets?

The expensive part is the DSP, the AD/DA converter and the USB controller, so if we have to keep all of that, even with a small case, the price can't be that much lower.

But keep the ideas flowing, that's what I like about forums, we never know what can result of this thread. ^^

I agree that a smaller product would be more beneficial than being able to do all of the editing on the device itself ....pedalboard friendliness is a good thing for us gear-heads & it's not like anyone using a Torpedo isn't going to have a computer that they can use to edit their patches with. It would be essential though that the user can load in their own cabinets/presets; a handful of slots like on the the TC tone print pedals that you could then load your sounds into via Remote would be a great way to go I think.

Also, if you were able to do something like the guys at Wheebo do where it only needs a 9V power supply but then steps it up itself inside the pedal to a regulated 18v, then this would please a lot of players using Voodoo Labs supplies etc. (power hungry pedals that need an 18v supply are always a bit of a pain when taps are of a premium).

A smaller pedal would be 9V, of course.

The actual CAB is 12V which is not something really exotic if you are ready to purchase a proper power supply. It's true the electronics need current, the display, the DSP and the other active parts need it. :/

My bad, for some reason I was thinking it was 18v, I already have two other 18v pedals you see & it pains me to take up four spots on my Voodoo Lab Mondo for just 2 pedals! Haha.
