Hey guys im just wondering about what im gunna do once i get my herbert.

I have a Custom Audio Amps straight front 4x12 with 2 eminence TR12-65s and 2 Scumback H55-65-LHDCs wired series parallel.

The two 12-65s are 100 watts a piece and they are one pair in the top,. and the Scumbacks are 65 watts a piece and are in the bottom.

I know the Two Rock pair at 200 watts could handle the 180 watt power section of the Herbert, but can the other pair? Will i blow the other pair of speakers, or will it see the cab as one total 330 watt load? Its a 16 ohm cab.

Should i rewire it in an x pattern so the eminence speaker and the two rock speaker are each in mixed pairs so i have one of each on either side, then i would have 2 pairs of 165 watts a piece.

What should i do?

lowest wattage speaker multiplied with the numbers of speaker = max. wattage.

So 65 x 4 = 260 Watts.

so even though its wired series parallel its still 65x4 not x2? since its two distinct pairs.

thanks for helping.
