So at our show last night i noticed during sound check that my Diezel RL 4X12 was rattling. I messed with it a little, and discovered that if i sat on it, or put something heavy on top of it that it would stop.
Can anyone here tell me what i should do?
Do you recommend anything like Putting a screw in from the top to bolt down the wood?
This is weird and im concerned.
Any thoughts?

Rob,

If this a cab from Salwender please check the screws on
the frontpanel. Thighten it or use longer screws.

We have nothing to do with Salwender cabs btw.

They seem pretty tight but i did a little experiment.
If i make a fist and hit on the top of the cabinet closer to the corners (where the screws are) i get what you'd expect. A thud. BUT. If i do the same at the top center of the amp it sounds like 2 pieces of wood hitting each other.
Is there any way i can drill a big screw in to hold it down without damaging anything?

...also, Im installing the weber beam blockers in it this week. Any experience with them over your speakers. Apparently they work well to disperse the harsh highs.

My diezel is in a road case... i wish. But even then, its only a temporary solution.
Bolt it down..?

can't you open the back of the cab and have a look?

Rob,

please open the cabinet and screw it from the inside.

I have no experience with the beam blockers, but I´m
interested in.
