I play my VH4 through an Marshall 1960 BDM....
It is an great Cabinet but i am thinking to get an Diezel 412 rearloaded with V30´s.....
Any thoughts????

I believe the resounding response, especially being on the forum you are, will be DO IT!!

I have had a RL 4x12 loaded with G12H's, and now currently run through a FL 4x12 loaded with G12K100's. The power and wind that thing generates is off the hook. But more importantly, there's been a complete redesign in the last year or so to Diezel's 4x12's. They definitely did something right because I've run my head through a couple other cabs and nothing sounds as good as the Diezel cab. Personally, I'm pretty happy with the G12K100's being stock in the cab - historically, I've found V30's to be a bit too much in the mids. The G12K's are killer. Further to this, you can also 2x2x12 your cab, making an X pattern of 2 types of speakers - maybe going the V30 and G12K route. Up to you - up to your ears. But as a devout Diezel fan, all I can say is there's something pretty magical about their cabs.

Hope this helps.

go for the Diezel FL with G12K100s or an X of V30s & G12K100s for the VH4. Simply amazing!!!

I am the rhythm player in our band and sometimes a play lead when we play a cover song like whiskey in the jar or something...
Also the combination of an rl and an fl with v30 would be awesome....

I think you'll find the FL cabs fill a room more than the RL cabs. There'd be little need for 1 of each. If I seriously wanted 2 4x12's, I'd go with both FL - one with all G12K100's or an X pattern of those with [maybe] V30's or something completely different. My other 4x12 cab concept "dream project" is one loaded with Celestion Gold Alnico 50 watters. Pure velvet - and a LOT of it...

The more I read this kind of topics, the more I think on changing my cab. It's a Mesa Recto 2x12 (with V30s), that sounds good to me, but I haven't tried any other with my VH4. Any advices on this?

Another OT doubt I have... it's a 4x12 too much to play at home?

Best!
