There is already numerous conversations about this matter. Please try the search function.

I know that Herr Diezel will recommend you Cordial (a hint  ) and someone else will recommend you e.g. Van Den Hul, VoVox, Zaolla, Evidence Audio, George L, Klotz, Mogami, or something else. Personally I think, that the description of a "good cable" needs to be done in correct context, where the cables' qualities are analyzed in the light of its end-usage purpose and surroundings where the cable is utilized. For example, one might argue that there is no sense using those super high quality cables for i.e. FX-racks internal wiring.

I have one of the Evidence Audio speaker cables on my setup. It's great!

As far as effects, etc.....I like the George L's stuff. The newest Guitar Player magazine had a great comparo of cables in the recent issue.....check into that if you haven't yet.

I recently bought a Cordial (Roadline, the best in their line). I'm totally happy. Brought a little more treble than my Sommer Cable (SC Spirit) had.
Take a look at the resistance and capacitance, that's what matters. I compared them and Cordial has the better values.
But that's already on a high quality level.
