Cables question

Might need kind of a weid cable, thought I'd ask here.

Y cable, 1/8th inch stereo to 1/4 inch left and right. Has to be 5-6 feet long. Going from computer into mixer. Has to be good quality.

Anybody know where to get such a beast?

For the non-Radio Shack version, find your nearest Hosa dealer. That would be your best bet. That's actually a pretty standard cable anymore, with iPods and mp3 players all over the place in the Pro Audio world.

Thanks! Another question if I could:

The sound out of the computer is noisy- like a high pitched ringing.

I'm not into computer recording, but Youtube, iTunes, etc...

I'm hoping a good cable will fix it but-

Grounding, maybe? Should I try a ground lift?

It's a new HP computer. Is it just a crappy sound card?
