Anybody compared their Bogner cab (4x12 or OS 2x12) with and without the batting on the back panel?

I could remove it and see, but I don't want to go through the hassle of having to re-staple it all back on. Plus I'd have to go buy a legit woodworking stapler.

Take off the back panel and put it on backwards for a quick and easy A/B test.

Took the batting out of my Rivera k412t and it brought out the high frequencies. The cab almost felt dead with the batting in there.

I recently put it back in for recording...

I'm also interested in this subject. I have a Bogner OS2x12 and was wondering if I'd get more mid-range tones without the white batting on the back panel. But afraid I'd lose the tight bass response of the cab. Maybe it was just me, but my batting was kinda loose when I first got the cab, and I made it more flush and where it's more matted down, and it seemed to improve the bass response a little tighter. Check your batting to see if its all loose on the back.

I'd like to know - I have several Bogner 4x12 but for some reason dug how Marshall cabs have a woody attack (if that makes sense). Maybe the batting accentuates low mids, where the Marshall is more upper mid
