calling Aeroic! speaker question

I scored a pair of G12K85's for damn cheap. They are supposed to be the old K100.

I know you and I both love the 75/80 combo, but how do you feel about K100's at this point?

I still really like K100s man. Beware, they have a fair amount of low end, so if the cab you are putting them in has a fair amount of low end now, it'll have more But they are a really good speaker. Similar in tone to a 75/80 combo, but a bit more raw and with a bit less sparkle on the top. The mids are really good, and the low end is super precise and tight. Definitely one of my favorite speakers "by itself". Someday I'd like to get another cab w/ a K100 in it.
