Cameron CCV-100 Inbound - Arriving on tomorrows UPS run!

Hey Guys,

I have my Cameron CCV100 inbound scheduled to be at my door tomorrow via UPS. I have heard so many great things about the amp it will be hard to live up to the ultra high expectations I have for it.

That said my Cameron modded Marshalls I have had have all sounded amazing and I have never heard anything but great results in commentary and clips of Marks own amps, so hopes are high. :rock:

Congrats man! let me know if you have any questions... theres no doubt in my mind that you will absolutly love this amp. It is so versatile, there are so many tones inside this box, and they are all fricken amazing! Such a big 3d sound, and killer feel and playability! Best amp i've ever owned, heard or played...it can do dark tones, it can do bright tones, it can do middle of the road tones, it can really do it all! The dip switches are the key to getting all these different sounds, and they allow you to shape the tone of the amp incredibly, between feel, saturation, bright , dark and etc... its endless!

One of my favorite tones goes a little something like this -

Voltage switch set to High...

Punch - cranked almost all the way with dip switch to the right
Presence - 1 oclock with dip switch to the left

Channel 1 -
master - 4:30 with dip switch in the middle
bass - noon
mid - 1:30
treble - 3:00
gain 9:30 with dip switch to the right for a brighter fendery tone, in the middle for a more smooth dumble kinda tone...

Channel 2 -
Bass - 12:30
Mid 2 oclock
treble 1:30
Gain 1 - 4:30 with dip switch to the left
Gain 2 - 11:30 dip switch to the right
Master volume - to taste with dip switch to the left
Solo boost - to taste with dip switch to the right for a gain/compression increase... sick for solos and real squishy yet still tight rhythms....

Alright so I gotta ask - when did you order it?

In this thread just a week ago, you said "I'd love to get my hands on a CCV" but made no mention of having had one on order for over a year, which would seem like a pretty relevant point to make in a conversation about wanting a CCV.... So how did you happen upon this one? Wait let me guess, one of your buddies happened to cancel his order? :lol: :LOL:

I'm being a dickhead I know, but if you had $1800 tied up for over a year (when you were promised 2-3 months) like I have, while getting absolutely no honest information, then watching other people get their amp ahead of you, you'd be pissed too - I guarantee it...

No worries I didn't jump the line and Mark had nothing to do with me getting the amp. Beleive it or not I have never spoken to Mark via phone or email. I have sent him a PM since taking over the board but havent heard back yet. I hope he is feeling well. :thumbsup:

I bought it second hand from a friend of mine that had it for awhile. I will report back later tonight when I crank it up.

UPS tracking says it was delivered at 11:36am and is sitting on my front porch :rock:
