Hi guys ,

I am posting this for a close friend

He is selling a one off Cameron CCV and matching 4x12 cabinet.

This was hand wired and built by Mark Cameron. This one is unique because it has a CCM chrome faceplate and it also has a tube buffered fx loop that Mark installed which I have not seen in any other ccv. The clipping diodes are activated by push pulls on the gain channel masters.

Amp has probably less than 5 hours on it and is in mint condition , and loaded with Russian winged c el34 power tubes.

The 4x12 cab was Mark's Personal cabinet loaded with English classic lead 80 celestions.

This includes heavy duty road cases for both the head and 4x12 cabinet.

$8000 + freight serious buyers and inquires only. No trades please.

I can attest that this is the real deal , sounds killer and is rarer than hens teeth....

Thanks !

If this is a CCV, but using a CCM faceplate...where are the clipping controls for the masters??

Either there is no zener/transistor clipping on this amp and that functionality does not exist...or has to be somewhere else on the amp...but where??

You'll need more photos for sure.

Hey brother,

As stated above the clipping "circuits" are on push pulls on both of the master volumes on the higher gain channel. The master on channel 1 has a 3 way switch for the zener / transistors like a normal ccv.

And Yes you'll now say well this doesn't have 2 different zener / transistor modes per master like a standard ccv and you are correct , that is because this is a custom ccv and it only has the push pulls to engage them. There is a very funny story about that and how I got the owner into this amp that I can share.

I also have to confirm exactly how the push pulls are wired because it is possible he may have the zeners engaged all the time and then the pull engages the transistors for more ... I can confirm that for the buyer.

I'm thinking that's the way it is wired if I recall and especially because the fact that there is a tube loop in the circuit it was done that way intentionally to minimize the voltage loss differences between the 2 clamping circuits and no clamping circuit... if you catch my drift.

More Photos avail for seriously interested parties of course.

Thanks !

If anybody is considering this Ive had previous dealings with the owner and have had great dealings with expensive items, no issues.

Yes, Shea is correct...Nick is great people and a great player, and turns Marshalls into fire breathers!
Good to see you here again!

Killer amp. I have a couple of the production versions and they are great.

I honestly don’t think the price is out of line at all. It's super rare and you never see them for sale. That’s probably what I’d list it for as well. Someone will grab this I’m sure.

i think this is the amp that Mark did for Josh. I remember talking to Mark about it. Mark very much respected Josh's ear for tone. So much so that he took two years to finish it. Mark told me it had to be perfect. I remember Josh was really livid it took so long.
Josh and Mark grew up together. Josh would hang with Mark while Mark tweaked a lot of different mods for him. I was lucky enough to get a few of those amps from Josh and they were great ones. Josh sold this one to another member on here who I am very surprised let it go. He loved this amp. And yeah, Nick is good people who knows his stuff. There is only one of these if I am not mistaken.

Yep! Makes Total sense. I didn't see the part about the push-pull. Yeah, may have somewhat engaged and then added transistors or zeners in a string probably with a DPDT push-pull and like you said, voltage dividers need to be adjusted between modes so limiting the differences when on or off to on positions would help with this. I get it. Good luck with the auction!

Yup, I still have mine. ;)

Man good to see everyone! I hope you guys are all well and life has been good ! All is good here , busy with my audio production business and about to be a dad so life is busy !

I tinker with amps when I can and really enjoy it , and I play whenever I can ! My band did a new ep a few months ago check it out below ! I'm on all guitars and did the production.

Sup bro! I still kick myself in the ass for selling my “Burning Rain” SLP. There are maybe three items out of literally hundreds that I really regret selling, and that amp is one of them. :D

Congratulations on the upcoming new addition to your family Nick!

Wasn’t mine, but I had something similar. :D

Good to see some familiar folks posting!
