According to the listing Mark helped design the Shiva?

Hey guys, I'm the owner the Cameron modded Shiva, finally activated my account. In talking to Mark, I have to correct myself - Mark had some input I believe in some of the updates of the second Shiva version, but I never meant to say he designed the thing - it was Bogner, but Mark was working there at the time.

Oh, by the way to "gay-deli" - do you think the Atomica story is as much BS as the one about Matt Bruck taking Van Halen's amp to have a tech undo the Jose mod before the first VH album came out...in 1977...when Matt Bruck would have been about 11 years old?

I loved the "Atomica" amp story... I haven't heard that much bullshit since GWB gave his last speech!

According to Chubtone, it is a true story. So Bush wasnt that bad after all. :D

GD,
I heard and played and was absolutely FLOORED by the Atomica amp. I don't know if the guy selling this amp is just using my story of this amp as the basis for his pitch, or if he heard that amp too, or if Mark told him about it. Gain Deli, do you read the posts on here about Cameron and about the original Jose mods? I have told this story on several different forums including this one a bunch of times and often gotten comments in agreement from Mark Cameron in the same thread.

The seller of this ebay amp is based about 30 minutes up the freeway from where Mark worked in Huntington Beach, so it is very possible he experienced this amp in person too or has at least heard Mark talking about it.

The Atomica amp was very real. It absolutely ruled. Ask me. Ask Mark Cameron. However, nothing ruled so much as your post that one day filled with "facts" about EVH and his plexi. That was one of the greatest internet experiences i have ever had. I almost laughed as hard at that as the first time I read that now famous kids webpage about Ninjas. As a matter of fact, I am now suspicious that you are the ninja webpage kid. :D

Found him...the J. Cooper Cameron ninja clip:

I lived in So Cal until this past Nov.
I'll say that I was fortunate enough to meet Curt and Jay and purchase my Charvel and some MTS modules from them at Squid Music.
As well as jam my Cameron through his Orange cabs at the store. :D
He has a ton of knowledge regarding Marshalls and Cameron. As well as all of of our 80's hereos from Akiara.Le Tekro, EVH to Aldrich.
It just amazes me when some thread comes up about some amp that was a "urban legend" of some sort, and the man jumps in and not only verifies it but played the damn thing. To cool dude!!

Jay's had the craziest Charvel collection I've ever seen and is a pretty cool guy for an EMG user. j/k Jay.

Curt always has the coolest stories/info! :)

Curt, when i eventually get my ass over to Cali, im makin a trip to your shop to meet ya and check out your shop! :2thumbsup:
