I'm hearing whispers of a supposed Cameron module for the Egnater/Randall MTS line. Any truth to the rumor? If so any word on a release date? Will this be a production model or built to order? I assume high gain? Single channel or dual? Very interesting.

that would be cool! ...think about it,a "jose-hg" & "aldrich" module.havent heard any news of this, myself, but maybe Mark can chime-in & confirm this...

Spoke w/ Mark About this last night ....possibly a ccv / ccm module to! He said it's a little tricky because the power section in his mods and amps are also a big part of the sound ... but still doable!

pretty cool stuff!

killer!!! i know alot of guys on the Randall MTS forum would love to hear this...keep us informed,Nick :D

Still going to sell the MTS stuff Neddy???? :D

Very Cool

This is what I think Randall needs to do for the next step
is really get some of the builders involved and create a signature builder custom line of mods ..cool if Cameron is involved

yep...more than likely,Dan! there's NO mts "module"(modded or not) that can touch my friedman-modded amp or my cameron-modded amp.the "magic" is in the whole amp,not just part of it ;)

You are absolutely right,And when a person finds THAT TONE or feel or you know,IT'S MAGIC!!!!!

I am just such a gear slut.....hard for me to settle down no matter HOW good the tone is!
I am always looking for the next tone to come up. Sold off many killer amps.....wish I would of hung on to a few of them! :aww:
But a Cameron module would be EXCELLENT!
Just not sure how REAL it would sound ya know? Like you mentioned.....hard to capture a WHOLE AMP in a module.

i hear ya,dude! i'm sure a cameron mts module will come out sounding geat, and that's a good thing for the Randall MTS series.shoot,i'm all for it! as you know over at the MTS forum,i've been the biggest supporter of the Randall George Lynch signature series "Brahma" module.imo, that module KILLS for hot-rodded plexi/marshall tones.that module, alone,is worth buying a Randall MTS head.all i'm saying is that, like with anything, something that once sounded great, somehow looses its "luster" a bit, after you've heard/played/owned something that sounds even better! i know,it's a sad, sickness most of us have...this GAS thing!  ...but,hey it's cool! there's NOTHING wrong with seeking out better TONE.as "jmgman69" already mentioned,it's all about the MAGICAL feeling that the right TONE gives ya,once you've stumbled onto it!!! :D

When I was into the Egnater/Randall series amps, the Brahama was by far my favorite, even in stock form. Dave Friedman did a few tweaks for me but that was about it. I will say though, play the Brahama for a while then plug into a real Plexi again, I should have never done that

yep, that's what i'm getting at...sometimes it's just "pure evil" when you keep on trying out other amps :scared:

As a new Egnater owner, I say cool! Are these Randall (single channel) or Egnater (dual channel) modules?
