"Marc Camron" modded.....The guy should learn if he is going to list a hoax, he should learn to spell Mark's name correctly.

Nope thats the one from craigslist that I posted up for you guys a few months ago. Confirmed by Mark when he popped up, its genuine. Its been taken down from craigslist.....and he scewed up marks name when he had it up on there too. :lol:
 
Yea, but from what I remember Mark built those from Marshalls that were all screwed up. Basically parts thrown together.
 
I dont know. Marks place is riddled with bitchin frankenstien amps that Id gig in a heart beat. Just because it came in wrecked doesnt mean Mark didnt make something killer out of it buy the time it left. Id have no problem giving it a whirl if I needed another amp. Just my .02

Something isn't right, he went out of his way to mispell the first and last name in both the description and the answer to the question.
 
He spelled it correctly here. Sounds legit to me. I wish I saw it.

Q: Hello, Are you the one who sent the amp to camron for the mods and how long ago? Do you have any documentation and did he sign the amp anywhere? Does this amp have an increase in gain over the stock marshall? what type power tubes el34 or 6550 ? Is the amp noisy \ and is it functioning as supposed to?? Please write back , thanks Oct-06-10
A: Hello, I'll give you all the info I have on the amp. It's a MK2 Master Model 100 WT lead. Made in 1982 purchased in 1997 by Pat Brandon modded at Gear Trader by Marc Cammeron in 1997. Mode includes: foot switchable clean only, clean side is Fender Bandmaster with Fender 12ax7 tubes. Lead is JMC 800 Mrk2 master lead, Ruby 6L6 tubes. Has low end boost at 60Hz, 5 way switch for gain SHFT, changes gain to regular 800 to high gain. 4 way toggle to run amp at 25, 50, 75, 100 Watts. And it's as loud as any 100 WT amp. It's not noisy and it is working as it is supposed to. It sounds fantastic, just had it played today, just killer. Thanks
 
I bid like $750 but about to go on vacation and would have screwed with trip had I won. If it was a mod from 97 I wonder how that sounded? Was that pre aldrich jose ocean?

IMHO much less dicey here from what I have experienced- haven't been disappointed in any transactions on RT. :D
