Hi there, can anyone help me out please, i have a problem with the effects send and returns on the back of my VH4. Basically none of them work, my tech says he can fix it but needs a circuit diagram otherwise it could take him hours and hours to find the fault.

Can someone please email me one. my address is doc_121@msn.com. It would be greatly appreciated.

That is actually strange, coz your tech should be Diezel authorized...and have or know what's inside a VH4 guts.
My "not-in-the-diezel-production" loop answer to this would be: send it back to Peter to have it checked.

My 2 cents

That would be great if there was one in the UK, but alas, there is not. Therefore i have had to think about getting someone over here to fix it as its going to cost me an arm and a leg to ship it to Germany/Switzerland, or wherever it has to go. To be honest i have had nothing but trouble with it since i have had it, and so far have had no help from anyone in the UK, or anyone from Diezel. If someone would like to offer any actual helpful advice, i.e. an "authorised" tech in the UK, a circuit diagram, or something, as so far everyone else i have asked in the UK, including the people that sell these things, knows nothing and hasn't been able to help me. And for the price this thing cost, i would expect the after sales service to be a bit better.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT PLEASE!!!!!!

I really think you should simply ask Peter about yoru problem, intead of making it publically...

I mean, If I would need any specific diagram of my amp... do you think that any other user would have it ??? no, just the makers, and the authorized techs... so, why ask this publically ?

I'm really sorry that you got that problem. I only can say that I only had happy days since I bought mine... (got problem with the midi chip, and was solved ON THE SPOT by Peter, I changed and everything was more than perfect since then). I really think you should talk to them BEFORE anything. And I'd also tell you that be a little patience, cause we all know how busy these guys are... so if they take a pair of days to answer, dont worry... but they will answer, as they always do ;).

Once again, good luck solving your problem... and let's think a little about them... they are doing the best to help customer, let's help them a little and dont kick their ass on first sign... ;)

Please calm down and send the email of the tech to

peterdiezel (at) diezelamplification.com

I also need the serial number.

If You are unlucky with the amp it needs a good service.
Best would be to send the amp to Germany. We can help
You out and the amp will run the next years.

Thanks Peter, i appreciate that. I don't really want to have to send it to Germany if i can help it, but if my tech can't fix it after getting the diagram i will definetely send it back to Germany to you to get it sorted. I understand what everyone is saying, and i'm sorry if i seemed a bit aggressive, just hate people putting their cents in when they don't understand the position in the UK. I appreciate how busy Peter and all his guys are, thats why i was asking for a diagram to save them the hassle if its not necessary to send it back.

Peter, the serial no. is 040447, and the email address is doc_121@msn.com (that is mine as my tech is moving house and has no connection at the moment), i hope that is ok.

Thank you again for your help Peter and for answering me, its much appreciated.

FWIW:
I was chippin' in with my 2 cents because I consider dumb asking for circuitry to a producer.
It's like Mc Laren asking to Ferrari to speak up about all the techs inside the cars. Why do you think nor Bogner Uberschall schematics neither Diezel's ones are out there?
Coz if someone pays big bucks to get a nice head, and someone else has the schematics to copy it, how many people do you think will buy the original ones, if they can hand-made their own one?
At least keep it low profile with a PM, if you really need it.
Same thing when they asked me about giving out measurements of my Bogner cubes to make copy ones. As I did: save some money, then go and get one.
If it breaks down, tough luck! Off it goes, but to the authorized dealer! If the manufacturer is honest, he will even apologize for the created issues!
