Can you use a regular amp power section for acoustic gigs?

I know that a typical amp doesn't really jive with acoustic guitars and can cause feedback issues. Has anyone had success using just the power section with an acoustic preamp pedal? Id rather use my solid state setups with a pedal rather than getting an acoustic amp if possible.

Curious if anyone has experienced this. Thanks!!

I don't have an issue with straight into the front of a tube amp as long as it's using the piezo and not the mic. I would think you shouldn't have any issues with your Orange ss amps. 🤷‍♀️

I'm actually rethinking everything because I am the singer as well. I just saw they have those Acoustasonics by Fender for under $200 and get great reviews. They have a guitar input and mic. I'll have to see what I decide.
