When using the attenuation feature, the signal seems hotter than when playing without it. Like, the cleans are broken up, and the drive channel of my amp seems to be hotter. I’ve tried swapping cables, guitars, and yes, the cabinet I’m using matches the rating of the captor. All sound the same. I’m wondering if this is just what the attenuation sounds like? Seems like it shouldn't.

Any ideas?

That's a new one on me, have you contacted the two notes helpdesk about it?

Hey Jason, thanks for the reply! Yes I did, although I haven’t heard back yet. I should probably record the difference between when in use and not, for context.

Get your amp sounding the way you want without attenuation first. I ran into the same issue with my captor x. The attenuation is pretty drastic and if you dial in your amp using it especially with a low wattage amp your going to overdrive your clean channel.
