Ready to get flamed...

Not pro or con but just wondering if it's total crap or what other reasons that it never seems to get mentioned here?

Your opinions?

I have no experience with their stand alone power amps. I have a reasonable amount of experience with some of their other amps and could give you opinions.

I'll echo what shimmilou said though. Decent quality. Made in the USA. Prices are quite competitive. If it sounds good to you, it is good.

You always hear about VHT, Frayette, Boogie, Marshall etc. I have a friend thats getting rid of a TS100 for a ridiculous price, (I trust him), and an M4 on the way and was just wondering about the general consensus of this amp due to the lack of representation here at the forum. I have read and heard some good things about it elsewhere but you can't be overinformed. I do like the fact that you could use an EL34 in one side and a 6L6 in the other.

Thanks for your input guys!

I've often wondered about the T100 myself. With an M4, it's either VHT or Randall (or the occasional Mesa) that you hear about, so that's why I gravitated to an RT2/50 when I had my M4.

I've often pondered getting another one (have an Egnater SL module modded by Friedman to Custom45/Brown Eye specs that I've never actually heard) - I'd definitely consider either the Carvin or a Peavey Classic 50/50 next go round.

Hey guys.....After loving my new MOD100, I scored a M4 and was also considering the T100. You are right, not many people built a tube power amp and the VHT, Mesa's, and Marshall's garner most of the praise. I owned a T100 years ago and it was nice and straight ahead. The others are big money (even with my industry accomodation). I also have the option of a RT2/50 that is literally new. Thoughts on the Carvin option for the M4 (Its been years since I had one....way before there was a M4)?
