Carvin V3 anyone tried it?

Got an offer for a V3 half stack.

I've been kinda curious about them for a while. Theres some cool clips of it on youtube, and I've heard good things.

anyone played/own one? opinions, thoughts?

I had one for a year with the matching G12T75 cabinet. At the Carvin Board there was info that the amp was designed for this cabinet.
The amp is a great deal for the money. The tone controls are a bit twitchy, a litttle nudge can make a big difference. I think they use a different pot value than most amps. I spent a lot of time tweaking.
The cleans are fine but I'm not a big clean guy.
The intense mode deals out some nice vicious high gain but is a bit compressed.
There is another mode I can't remember the name that is a bit mid honked, maybe "thick mode" that was nice for a marshall vibe.
The line level dual effects loops are great with tails on feature.
At the time I decided to get rid of it I got a V-30 4x12. The amp sounded much better this way and if I had a V-30 cab the whole time I might not have sold it. Wait a minute, who am I kidding I'm an amp whore I would have sold it anyway sooner or later for something else.
