Every clip you do sounds excellent. Sounds nice and modern to my ears.

Its sounds great and thats the 1st clip that really sounds different as far as a CCV goes. One thing about all the clips I've heard is they have all had that CCV grind to them, whatever you have done its different. Great stuff, it sounds very tight.

Thanks for watching. :)

I basically turned down the gain and turned up the presence to get that modern attack.

The Jackson is loaded with a 500T
I didn't look close enough but I was going to ask if it was loaded with EMG's. In all reality the 500T isn't to far from EMG's, that is a HOT pickup. I put a set in an old Les Paul I had and the thing screamed

Thats cool, if that is the CCV what will the CCM sound like? I couldn't imagine needing that amount of gain.

Love your clips Dave, it would be cool if you could make a really low gain clip of the CCV, kind of like the one of VH but even lower... while maybe also showing how the clean sounds as well.

Take care,
Nico

From what I can tell from the clips the CCM is a killer amp. The clean channel is much more Fenderish than a CCV and the high gain quite a bit more Modern.

To me it sounds like the amp is trying but fits better in the Ratt camp.

sounds like it was recorded inside a trash can....

At least I am not afraid to post clips... :D. STILL waiting for some bad blood clips. :gethim:

Is that the word on the street?

Not saying it was bad playing Dave, just hollow and thin. Sounds like more than a presence adjustment.

Now you're talkin'! Take to the streets :boxer:

Second clip definitely sounds better to me,faster, drier and less of the overly saturated sound, just seemed more in the face, nice playing Dave!!!!

Second clip sounded better to me but this is the first time to the best of my recollection that I really don't care for the tone that you're getting. Simply a matter of taste I suppose...I dig the more classic tones. This is too cold and harsh.

Killer! Very in your face, tight, bright and NOT scooped... Perfect for heavy riffing and metal rhythms.... Will it do a more saturated/scooped tone but still kick thru? Duh....

Very cool, in the right context that tone rips.

Great playing as always Dave.
