External bias would be a great option. Would make it real easy. I also agree with the removable front panel, so you can have easy access to the pre tubes.

I'd like external bias points for individual tubes and a metro loop...

I'd like to see the thing actually available and shipping.

your's, Mike's, or both? :D

being able to bias each tube, is cool as hell though!

i was all geared up to mix tubes in the Blueface, and then got reminded that's on the Herbert only.

mine has external bias .... and i'm able to run any type of power tube in mine also.... I think they should all have this feature.

The fx loop is a 100% a must... I can't use mine live without having a wet dry rig and in most places it just won't work.

The other thing is some of the earlier ccv's needed the mute circuit / relay installed to prevent channel bleed... meaning.... the high gain channel would bleed a little bit into the clean channel.... easy fix really... just a heads up.

External bias and multiple pots with a better range would be great.

the goal for the CCV is to build the exact amp that Mark originally designed per his schematic, which to my knowledge still hasnt been done. Brad and I are going to be trying to figure out the effects loop situation today.

all the features u guys want are killer and i want them to and they will be in other designs. But if we start adding new things, then we have to design and build a new board and chassis etc. That would take a long time to get done and we REALLY REALLY want to get those 14 guys their amps.

Thanks Rob, I agree. I do think the Metro loop should be added to the current design. All the other stuff is great but not needed as much as a loop.

I think that the loop would be a great standard feature. The bias thing would be nice as well. But the more shit stuff they add , the more the price goes up, along with the wait time for it to start shipping. I do think different colors eventually down the road would be nice. I would eventually really like to see an amp based and voiced more on his marshall mods, as some of those like the one brad had in the classifieds that went to lugo seemed like it would be a better fit to me then the ccv. For some reason I prefer his marshall modded amps to the ccv.

Do you know how much the trim pots cost, or the components for an effects loop cost... not that much when bought in bulk. It wouldnt raise the price much. Over hyping something is what drives the price up.

The CCV will have a excellent FX loop standard and it will not raise the price from out target of $3299.

An entirely new name on the face plate (such as Brad King Amps or 0311 amps....amps with some grunt!! LOL all the other jarheads will get that one) with Cameron designed in tiny little letters on the bottom. Personally I think it would sell better without his name in bold letters on the faceplate. As I understand it, Brad is not in business with him, its an entirely new line of amplifier, so why tie the name to a guy that hosed over a number of people we all know.

On the preamp tube....I wouldnt halt production over it for sure!! In 10 years I have never had a preamp tube blow on me, and I have never been one to fiddle with them trying out different ones....power tubes sure...maybe...but preamp...nah...never had the urge to mess that much, if I did I would buy a modeling amp instead!
