NOS EI in V1
And Chinese 9's in everything else... I know Dave likes the 8's better, and I wanted to try em' but I haven't been able to get my hands on any.
I had an LPS in the PI but it failed
So I'm saying away from those.

same here.... i think LPS sounds great in v1 , but they are a no go in cathode follower stages...

Sovtek LPS in V1. Chinese Ruby) HG+ in V2 and Ruby AC5 selects the rest of the way. Bought some EI's but didn't try them yet. Won't be trying them for a while as we are just starting our vacation in Amsterdam and I am enjoying a few spliffs, lots of beer and some shroons!

Survived Amsterdam . Probably not a blood test available I could pass 
. Went to London and saw Pearl Jam and they just kicked ass in Hyde Park.
In Berlin now and heading to Nuremburg, Heidelburg and another ...burg, then onto Austria - Salzburg and Vienna. We stumbled on an outdoor Goa Trance party last night in Berlin that finished up at 4:30 AM. Some cool peeps up here, these Berliners. They have built a beach on the Fredrickstraza complete with sand, huts, beach chairs, sound system and a big ass TV, all outside. Will chill there this afternoon and see if Holland can send the Brazilians back home.
Gonna pop up to Prague after Austria then south to find a beach somewhere. Got to go to Dublin for a few days then back to Amsterdam at the end of the month.

and how are they marked.. I just got some chinese but no special markings ? ? ? ? ? ? looks just like the ruby I bought. ( i know rubys are chinese)

the second spacer on the C8's are square and the 9's have an octagonal one. the filament is the same. i don't think there is any difference in their voicings.
