anyone use or clocked any time on a cab with these Celestion G12T -100 "Hot 100"speakers?
care to share your thoughts/experience?

im wondering if they are anything like the G12K-100 speakers (i had these in a marshall mode four cab ages ago) or if they are a 100W version of the G12T-75s (which ive had in a marshal quad and 2x12)

im thinking about blindly purchasing a framus 1x12, which comes loaded with these speakers, to add to my tonal pallette.
(I currently have a Framus 2x12 loaded with one V30 and one Greenback)

Thats a "budget" Celestion. Voiced similar to the T75 and K100, but not as good as them. And I'm not really a fan of any of those, as they're all quite scooped. But they may be ok in a 1x12 as their scooped nature should compliment the midrangy quality of a single speaker enclosure.

don't confuse it with the older, actual G12T100 that is just a 100 watt version of the G12T75

bugger.
i was hoping to get this as the framus would look nice in my collection and having a diffrent speaker ot add to my V30/Greenback seemed ideal

its basically down to three 1x12 cabs
the framus
Vox Night Train cab - Greenbacks (my speaker of choice)
Orange V30

i also liked the idea of having hte 100W speaker as i would be able to run more diffrnet amps with it, compared to say the vox cab with a greenback rated at 25W.

might go try the night train cab out today before i make up my mind.
