I’ll probably change my mind, but let’s give this a shot…a long shot…This was built by Tom
Paul in AZ. It was his personal guitar which he sold me unloaded. Beautiful flame maple top, just enough flame, Nitro finish, Hyde glue, Old Growth Mahogany body and neck, Brazilian Rosewood board, 59 carve, long neck tenon, etc. 50s wiring, with Seymore Duncan Pearly Gates, Faber bridge, etc.. just a amazing sounding and playing Les Paul! Builder had repaired the headstock.. it was a split around the tuners. Solid as can be..doesn’t bug me, but I know that decreases the value. If it didn’t have the repair. I would want $3500 all day. So with the repair, I put the value at $3,000. Located in Upstate NY. Willing to drive a bit for the right guitar.
