Okay, interesting story about this guitar.
I have many USA Custom Shop Charvel guitars, and always want a 24 frets spec with hot-rod flame graphic superstrat. However, Charvel doesn't offer this kinds of spec, most of hot-rod artwork guitars from custom shop are based on the 22 frets San-Dimas model.
So, I found a Japanese Charvel "Model A" guitar and take this beautiful birdeyes maple neck off, and assembled with a Jackson DK2 Hot-Rod Flame Dinky body, found there are 100% matched without any modification needed.
As you might know that the original pickups on the Japanese DK2 are Duncan Design, which are low gain and sounds not great, so upgraded to the real Seymour Duncan pickups (with single-coil switchable), the tremolo also upgraded to the Gold Original Floyd Rose (made in Germany), here is the total $700 part upgraded cost breakdown:
Seymour Duncan Little 59 pickup (Neck) = $100
Seymour Duncan Cool-Rails pickup (Mid) = $100
Seymour Duncan Custom 5 (bridge) = $100
Original Floyd Rose Tremolo (Gold) = $320
Gold Jackson Tuner = $80
The guitar is in great shape, only has light play wear, the action is perfect for shredder too.
