The curly maple top is covered Ox Blood trans res and looks amazing, as does the birds eye maple neck. The custom shop hand selects these woods for tone and for beauty -just look at the Rosewood board. The pickups SCREAM!!! -Bridge pickup swapped out for a Duncan. The neck on this is like butter!

Yup. Great guitars, I had a mint purple SDIV. Fast comfortable necks, the SDIII might be Koa? Mine was.
