Anybody have a source on a custom pickguard for the So-Cal, namely 2016/newer, with the blade pickup switch, and two-knob set-ups of these last couple years? Plenty of blanks and others, but so far, all I can find are people needing to copy my existing.. Anybody have a template? I REALLY want a black pearl one on mine!!

EDIT: UPDATE - How about carbon fiber?? I got some 3M 3D vinyl wrap, took the pickguard off, wrapped it, trimmed it, and it came out LEGIT! Looks total pro!

I was looking for similar myself today. no luck. I'm sure you found the same ones I did. Trying to get a replacement for my Jackson Adrian Smith sig. Plenty of them without the damn blade switch cutout.

I may go for one of these Dragonfire ones I found that were hum/single only and drill the holes myself. At least they are cheap enough, that if it fails to fit I'm out less than $20.

the last time I did one on a charvel I went to warmoth and ordered one of theirs. I just ordered it wit the blade switch and then drilled the holes where I wanted them. the only trimming I had to do was on the neck pocket of the pickguard on the upper horn side, since the charvel neck is 1/16" wider than a standard fender neck pocket. it s minimal trimming though and everything else fit and worked perfectly

I'm not good at "trimming"..

WD will make custom pickguards but you have to trace the old one.

I wonder if you could just send them a pick guard to copy. Should be more accurate. I'd like to get a new for a So-Cal too.

Seems odd that they wouldn't have something like that on file. Is it a liability thing?

I had them do a pickguard for an old Kramer and a Warmoth. They did not have anything on file for either. I traced them VERY carefully and placed the Volume/Tone where I wanted them and drew them in and they both came out perfect. Here's the Kramer after the makeover.

That Carbon-Fiber thing looks great. I love DIY shit like this. Nice job!

I'm totally stealing the idea.
