I'm thinking about a new build and need chassis recommendations. Here are my needs:

50-watt (100 will work too but I'd prefer smaller chassis)
Marshall laydown PT
At least 2 dual cap can holes, but I can also use axial caps and mount them inside
Enough holes on the front panel for: power, standby, light, depth, presence, bass, mid, treble, master, gain 1, gain 1, one mini toggle
Rear: typical loop send/return, speaker, power, etc.

The Valve Storm project chassis would work if it had a laydown PT. I wish they made a smaller 50-watt version. That would be dope.

Anyway... ideas?

I could use a Valve Storm 100-watt chassis. It's cut for laydown PT. But I'd have to mount the gain controls in the input jack holes and that's not ideal.

Do you know how to use cad software? Could always get one custom made. Or see if valvestorm could make one for you.

I have zero experience with CAD. But I'll ask Valvestorm and see what they say

Seems like Ceriatone might be a good option too, specifically the 2204HW chassis.

I have the opposite problem; I have a Ceriatone 2204, but I'd be better off with a longer chassis due to the mods I'm putting into it.

PS - highly recommend getting into learning CAD. You don't need to be anywhere near a pro level user to be able to draw something like an amp chassis. Think of it like using MS Paint, but an advanced version.

Ceriatone is hard to beat. Nik has done a couple custom chassis for me. Not sure about shipping in this wonderful economy.
