Greetings :)
Anyone know a source for inexpensive 19" rack cases? I have 4 rackmount power distribution units that will be used to feed power to devices on stage (powered mains, powered monitors, amps, lights, etc) and I need a case to put them in. I can order something from Road Ready or the like, but those cases are more than I really need. A relatively sturdy 6U carpet covered rack with latching doors would be ideal...

Thanks in advance

You get what you pay for when you go cheap; 1/4 inch crap that wouldn't protect against a swift kick.

I get my rack stuff from these guys....they are good quality and very reasonable price-wise....worth a look:

Thanks for the link...

I have several quality rack cases from Road Ready for the "important" gear, but this will be used for power distribution units and a drawer to hold the power cords. Granted, a proper rack case would be ideal, but a 6U Road Ready is $220 - and that's cheaper than any other "flight" style cases I've found. I checked the link you gave me and EWI has a similar styple case for half that. That's not much more than I would expect to pay for a carpet covered cheapie, so that might be the ticket. Thanks again...

Any other suggestions?

i usually go on ebay for some good used cases , prefer it to getting something new and probably cheaper made

I made my 4U out of thick scrap plywood I had lying around. $10 for rails, $15 for vinyl, 3 hours of labor.

Email Kyle at Rhodes Amplification for good deals on Pro Stage Gear stuff.
